Sec S — Services
Nine capabilities, one contract. Take the whole steel package or the single piece you are short of.
S-01
Tekla models and approval drawings, connection design under our engineer’s seal, and CNC files driven straight off the model.
S-02
Beams, columns, girders and built-up members cut, drilled and welded to CSA W59, with mill certs traced to each piece mark.
S-03
Our own ironworkers, rigging and equipment. Anchor bolt survey, steel erection, plumbing and torque verification, turned over with as-builts.
S-04
Trucks stocked for field repairs, alterations and emergency breakdowns. Certified welders on call every night and every weekend.
S-05
Stairs, guards, ladders, platforms, canopies and railings — detailed to the Ontario Building Code and finished for exposed applications.
S-06
Carbon and stainless pipe, racks, hangers and equipment supports for plants, water treatment and food-grade facilities.
S-07
MIG, TIG and stick across stainless, aluminum and specialty metals, with separate tooling and cells to prevent cross-contamination.
S-08
Strengthening existing frames, cutting new openings, replacing corroded members, and reinforcing for new equipment loads.
S-09
Repeat-run components and weldments from a fixed jig, priced per unit with consistent tolerances across every batch.
Sec S-10 — Sectors
Different sectors fail in different ways. These are the four we know well enough to price without padding.
Warehouses, distribution centres, manufacturing plants and mezzanines. Braced frames, crane rails and equipment platforms.
Retail, office and mixed-use frames, stair cores and exposed architectural steel with a finish that survives inspection.
Transit facilities, water and wastewater plants, pedestrian structures and municipal work with full documentation packages.
Shutdown support, breakdown repairs and retrofit work scheduled around production, including nights and weekends.
Sec S-11 — Bidding
Send an architectural and structural set and we will come back in two business days. A napkin sketch also works — it just gets you a budget number instead of a firm one.
Useful extras: the erection sequence you have in mind, site access and crane restrictions, the finish specification, and the date the steel has to be standing. Anything you leave out becomes an assumption, and every assumption we make is written into the quote so you can see it.
DWG S-204 — 42 m truss, issued for approval
Take-offs come back within two business days. Budget pricing from a sketch, firm pricing from an IFC set.
